Bored of Rock N Roll?

I know the title of this blog sounds a little negative but bare with me.

When I get bored I look around myspace to see if I can find any good new music come out. I've been doing this since I was sixteen and knew what purevolume was. I feel like every year that number of bands that catch my interest get smaller and smaller. I don't want this to sound like I'm saying we are the most exciting band but what happened to wanting to be individuals. Seems like most want to sound like someone else or just playing music for all the wrong reasons. Music is about community,chaos, and surprises. If your a predictable rock band then I'm not going to spend more then 5 minutes on you.
