End of 09!

This year has been our first full year as a band. I've learned so much from the members of my band and the people we've met this year. It's scary thinking now that some of my good friends I might have never met without this band. Another reason this project is so dear to me. I can't go a day without thinking of you all and all the places that I've seen. People that spent their hard earned money to see us do what we love. We have three more shows this year.
Dec 3rd Boone @ Legends
Dec 4th Charlotte @ Tremomt Music Hall

Both of those shows are with our good friends Harvard (www.myspace.com/harvard) for their CD release. They worked their asses off so please come and hang with us all.

Dec 18th Charlotte @ Tremont Music Hall
This will be the first show The Lo and Beholds have played in a while. If you've never seen them make sure you make it out.

I've lived in this city my entire life but since I was 16 I wanted to be apart of this music scene. For all the people that have opened their arms to us this year and helped out a young band thank you. Makes me feel young again. Lets make 2010 even bigger then this 2009!

I love you all,
Terrence/Junior Astronomers

No Ceilings

Heading to New Brookland Tavern to see some of our good friends Bakari and Will of Sweet Vans perform. If you like having a good time check out these guys (www.myspace.com/sweetvanssc)

I've been listening this band Menomena a whole lot recently. I've been stuck in this rut with modern music recently except for stuff that I can dance to. Its hard getting behind alot of the stuff that comes out these days. I'm glad to be surrounded by some of my favorite musicians.

Favorite childrens book?

Thank you,
Floor Tom Terrence

Honestly

I can honestly
say I've loved
a thousand girls.
Those tiny moments
where if I didnt atleast
speak to them, I feel my
whole life would be different.
Just a hey will do, to cure
my lonely southern blues.

I can honestly say
I've seen less then you.
I've been trapped and
kept away from even simple things.
If it bruises, it loses my interest.
I just wish those ideals would
apply when my heart seemed alive,
but only to cure my lonely southern blues.

I can honestly say
I'm sorry.
I can't excell.
I'd promise to fight nightly,
in rooms with dim lighting, just
to be enough for you.
But enoughs just what it is
and while we are still kids
can I keep complaining about my
lonely southern blues.

We just a played a show with the great O'Brother (www.myspace.com/obrothermusic). If you haven't checked them out you are living under a rock. We have some really sweet shows planned for the rest of the year. I'll keep you posted.

Anyone got any crazy New Years plans yet?

"For the record"

Our first tour behind us. There's a-lot of mixed emotions being back. As cliche as it sounds, I learned a-lot about myself/being in a band/ and how much I want to tour the world. There's still so much I haven't seen. Here's the things worth mentioning on the trip.

Highlights:
Watching the Philly/Yankee game projector on the wall outside the venue in Philadelphia.
Watching Harvard for a week straight.
Seeing NYC for the first time in my life.
Playing in Chapel Hill for Halloween.

We have decided to take it easy for the rest of year. We are planning another trip north early December but it's still up in the air. We all have to get our money in order and we are trying to prep for recording and touring in 2010. We met some really great people on the road. All of which I hope to see again soon. I soon will learn how to post cool pics on here but until the you have only my words. Thanks everyone for a great tour and be on the look out. We got some big plans for 2010!
